Zoë’s Place donation

Three members of Red Triangle Chapter No 3874, Harry White, Alan Routledge and Dave Douglas and also Dean Scrutton of Adelphi Lodge No 6819 were delighted to present a cheque for £1,103.75 as a donation to Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice in Liverpool. Unfortunately the fifth member of the team Mike Fox was unable to attend the presentation of the cheque due to work commitments. The members are all very much aware of the tremendous work that the hospice does for babies and wanted to support their endeavours.

At Zoë’s Place, they provide wonderful ‘home from home’ environments to care for babies from birth to 5years of age, all of whom have a life threatening or life limiting condition that demands 24 hour care.

All the money raised came via donations from loges, chapters and individual Freemasons in the Woolton Group who provided sponsorship towards a bike ride that took place in June from Liverpool to Cleethorps. The bike ride was a distance of 157 miles took 14 hours and 51 minutes.
