Last years walkers.

In preparation for the adventurous day out brethren and their families will meet at the Monument, Arnside at 12.45pm prompt. Cedric will lead the eight mile walk across Morecambe Bay sands, through the River Kent estuary channel then across the salt marsh leading to Kents Bank. The salt marsh does present about a dozen small muddy channels which have to be crossed so many walk in bare feet but old walking boots, trainers or crocs are recommended – be prepared to get wet!

It is requested all walkers raise a minimum sponsorship of £20 each and that non-walkers kindly sponsor David Winder, Assistant Provincial Grand Master.

The first 50 walkers to register and return the sponsor forms to WLFC prior to the event will receive a souvenir T-shirt (please state what size you require on your sponsor form).

Just £1 from each member in the Province would raise a considerable amount towards WLFC if the sponsor form was passed around at festive board’s.

Tea, coffee and cakes will be provided after the walk at the Abbots Hall Hotel along with washroom facilities.

As numbers are restricted please confirm your interest by contacting WLFC so that the charity can establish interest for the event.
