Tony visits the Southport membership team

Tony Harrison (Provincial Grand Master of West Lancashire and President of the West Lancashire Freemasons’ Charity) attended the 86th Southport Flower Show to present prizes to the winners and runners up of the Schools Design-a-Garden Garden Competition, which has been sponsored by the West Lancashire Freemasons’ Charity for the last six years.

While he was there Tony visited the membership trailer to see how the team from the Southport Group were getting on.

Peter Martin (Southport Group Membership Officer) told Tony that the team were doing well and they had received lots of enquiries from members of the public about Freemasonry, including some requests from gentlemen at the show on how they can join Freemasonry.

Peter went on to say that he hoped to introduce at least 20 new members across the lodges that meet in the group following the enquiries his team received during the four days of the show.
