Southport Chapter early season Sunday carvery

Over 60 members, family and friends of Southport Chapter No 1070 gathered at Southport Masonic Hall for a ground breaking carvery lunch, which was also opened to master Masons with an interest in learning more about joining the chapter.

Based on the Southport Group’s carvery menu, diners enjoyed a fabulous meal laid on by Southport Masonic Hall Catering Manager Wayne Warhurst, comprising of either soup or pate to start, a three meat carvery with seasonal vegetables and either sticky toffee pudding or fresh fruit salad for dessert.

A most satisfying and convivial afternoon was enjoyed by everyone. In addition to the meal a quick raffle was also held that yielded over £100, which will go to chapter charities.
