The principal guest was Christopher Butterfield, Assistant to Provincial Grand Principals, along with grand officers Dennis Rudd, Frank Umbers (Ormskirk and Bootle Group Chairman) and acting Provincial grand officers John Goodrum and John Wootton accompanied by Chris Gleave, (Warrington Group Vice Chairman) and all were admitted in true ceremonial style.

Andy welcomed Christopher and all of the grand and Provincial grand officers present, saying he was delighted and honoured to receive so many high ranking distinguished guests and hoped they all would have a most enjoyable evening.

Malcolm Alexander was then installed as first principal of the chapter, by the installing first principal Andy. Eric Miller was installed as second principal by Peter Gore. Michael Caldwell then installed Michael Williams as third principal, all in true traditional form. The robe address to the first principal was given by Peter Gore, to the second principal by Malcolm Alexander and the robe address to the third principal by Eric Miller.

Malcolm is the secretary for the Ormskirk and Bootle Group and had personal guests attending from that group, namely Frank Umbers, John Wootton, Ian Tupling and Stewart McVernon who had travelled from Heysham.

Following an exemplary ceremony, Christopher on behalf of the Grand Superintendent Tony Harrison, congratulated the three principals on being installed in the chairs of the chapter and wished them good health and happiness for an enjoyable year in office. He went on to congratulate Andy as installing first principal and Neville Hodson as acting director of ceremonies.

John Rutland delivered the address to the three Principals, Michael Williams gave the address to the officers and Christopher Butterfield delivered an exemplary address to the companions of the chapter.

Malcolm presented Barry with several cheques for a total of £1,500, which included donations to the Masonic Charitable Foundation 2021 Festival of £1,200, Masonic Trust for Girls and Boys £100, Warrington Masonic Hall £100 and The Warrington Aspergers Group £100.

Christopher thanked Malcolm for the most generous donations, saying it was a credit to all the members who had generated such a magnificent amount for charity and with the donation to the Masonic Charitable Foundation 2021 Festival, the chapter was now a Vice Patron of the Charity. He stated it would give him great pleasure in forwarding the donations to the beneficiaries and thanked everyone on their behalf. The ink barely dry on the donated cheques, Malcolm announced it was time to collect for charity and fill the charity purse once more.

Following the ceremony everyone enjoyed an excellent three course meal at the festive board provided by the Masonic hall catering staff. The raffle at the festive board raised an additional £79 for charities.
