Lune Lodge No 4724 hosted a double second degree ceremony on behalf of Poulton le Sands Lodge No 1051 at Rowley Court Masonic Hall in Lancaster.
The ceremony was conducted by Lune Lodge WM Philip Tarbun and his officers in the presence of the Provincial Grand Master Tony Harrison who was accompanied by grand officer Philip Gardner, acting WM of Poulton le Sands Lodge Stewart McVernon, Poulton le Sands secretary Mike Craddock and Lancaster and District Group Chairman Neil McGill. The two candidates were supported by members of Poulton le Sands Lodge.
Lune Lodge very kindly agreed to host the ceremony for Paul Stebbing and Nevill Edgar who were passed to the degree of a fellow craft after a longer than usual interval due to a backlog created by the recent COVID-19 pandemic.
The WM concluded the ceremony with a faultless description of the second degree tracing board, after which the brethren retired to the dining room for the festive board.
