The light blue brethren at Urmston have been granted approval to transform an unused basement room at Urmston Masonic Hall into a dedicated Light Blues Clubhouse. All light blue brethren from any group are most welcome.
This welcoming space will serve as a hub for new Masons to gather, unwind and rehearse rituals free of pressure. The clubhouse will also host special light blues’ events, like guest speakers, movie nights, games, and performances.
Additionally, a small library of donated Masonic books will be available for light blues to enhance their education. All brethren are encouraged to contribute any Masonic books they would like to share with the next generation of Freemasons. Donated Masonic books can be left at Urmston Masonic Hall.
The clubhouse will facilitate bonding and personal growth among new members. Taking ownership of renovating and decorating the space themselves will unite light blues in a constructive team effort. This will build camaraderie while instilling pride and care for their new home.
The light blues sincerely thank the seasoned brethren for supporting this initiative to create a separate sanctuary for new members. This will allow the light blue brethren to meet and hold events without disrupting lodge activities in the main hall and dining areas.
It is hoped that the Light Blues Clubhouse will strengthen fraternal bonds for years to come, as new Masons use this space to learn, socialize and uphold the enduring traditions of Freemasonry together.
