From the office of the Provincial Grand Secretary:
As a result of the reducing membership in the Province, and as part of his long-term plans for succession and re-structuring, the Provincial Grand Master has decided to reduce the number of Assistant Provincial Grand Masters currently in the Cabinet.
Accordingly, and with immediate effect, WBro Mark Dimelow, PSGD will step down as an Assistant Provincial Grand Master.
Bro Dimelow has been in high office for seventeen years since becoming a Provincial Deputy Grand Director of Ceremonies in 2000, and then Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies in both the Craft and Royal Arch and latterly as an Assistant Provincial Grand Master.
The Province has benefited greatly from the substantial contribution made by Bro Dimelow during his many years in high office, both in the Craft and the Royal Arch, and the Provincial Grand Master is deeply grateful for his dedication and commitment and wishes him well for the future.
As a consequence of Bro Dimelow stepping down as an Assistant Provincial Grand Master,
WBro Derek John Parkinson, PSGD, APrGM
will, with immediate effect, assume responsibility for the Liverpool Group, and retain responsibility for his current portfolio of the Gladstone Group and the Garston Group.
