He then brought the congratulations and best wishes of the Grand Superintendent Tony Harrison to the three principals; Paul Smyth for the sterling way he installed his successor and gave special thanks to DC Bill Bushell and ADC Brian Boothroyd for standing in at short notice as Neil MacSymons (Provincial Deputy Grand Director of Ceremonies) was unable to attend, and for the way they had overseen an excellent ceremony.

Following the installation ceremony, the companions retired to the Alan Locke Suite to enjoy the festive board   with the good company of companions old and new. After the toast to his health, Danny responded by bringing his own congratulations to the three principals, the installing first principal Paul Smythe, for an excellent ceremony and Steve McNee for his invaluable help.
