Barry Robinson was installed in the chair of King Solomon at Heysham Lodge No 4108 in October 2021 by installing master Torquil (Torky) MacLeod.
The principal guest was Barry Fitzgerald who was Torchy representing the Provincial Grand Master Tony Harrison and Barry was accompanied by Past Assistant Provincial Grand Masters; Phil Gardner, David Grainger and Keith Kemp, together with Lancaster Group Deputy Chairman Scott Devine.
It was the third time that Barry had been installed as master of Heysham Lodge, having previously been in the chair in 1997 and 2015.
Barry was presented for installation by Richard Dennison and during the ceremony the third degree working tools were presented by John Clark, those of the second degree by Jamie Unsworth and those of the first degree by Ian Byrom. The address to the brethren of the lodge was given by Barry Fitzgerald.
At the meeting, Allan Mills retired as secretary of Heysham Lodge due to his failing eyesight after 11 years in that office. The organist for the evening was David Tattersall and the master’s song was performed by John Bates.
