Waldermar Wolanczyk will surely remember his raising to the third degree for the rest of his Masonic life, as brethren of Ribble Lodge No 4558 delivered an excellent ceremony led by the master Simon Wright, supported by an array of other talented officers.
However, the icing on the cake was the presence of the Provincial Grand Master Mark Matthews, who was accompanied by Assistant Provincial Grand Master Peter Lockett and a stellar Provincial team including the Provincial Senior Grand Warden Michael Tax and Provincial Junior Grand Wardens David Rigby.
It was great to see a busy lodge room packed with visitors to celebrate this key stage in Waldermar’s Masonic career. Waldermar performed his part with confidence and humility. He certainly made the lodge proud of the way he conducted himself and his superb responses to the usual questions.
Mark warmly congratulated Waldermar on attaining his rank of master Mason in such a fine ceremony and made a point of congratulating every member of the team who had played a part.
At the end of the ceremony, the lodge was closed and everyone retired to a very convivial festive board where once again the Mark commented on the excellence of the ceremony and congratulated Waldermar. During the festive board, Waldermar was exposed to the potential of the Royal Arch as the Mark made specific reference to the Royal Arch and recruitment.
