Peter Mason, accompanied by Silverdale Lodge No 6926 members Alec Dobson, John Booth and Richard Whittaker, presented Silverdale Cricket Club’s Ladies Section with a cheque in the sum of £1,000.
The donation was to help towards raising the £15,775 match funding from Sport England to build their own female changing and shower facilities, rather than using a toilet to change in. The fund was started in April and they have 10 weeks to raise the £15,775.
