In February 2021 the Warrington Group started the ‘100 Club’, an initiative to ensure that the group’s future is financially viable.

The idea of the draw is that each year, the brethren, lodges, friends and family purchase their own individual number. Each month a draw for three numbers will be made and three cash prizes given. The initial idea was for 100 numbers, but it has been so successful that nearly 160 numbers have already been purchased.
Fundraising, the ‘100 Club’ has been an outstanding success. Special mention must be given to the efforts of the Freemasons of the group, their family and friends.
The draw was made in the presence of the Andy Barton (group chairman), John Tyrer (group vice chairman), Jim Cartledge (group treasurer), Eric Miller (group press officer) and Steve Clarke, who has undertaken the administration of the ‘100 Club’.
The first draw for the ‘100 Club’ was made on the steps of the Winmarleigh Street Masonic Hall (all socially distanced).
To verify the impartiality of the draw was Alan Greggs, the WM of Warrington Temple Lodge No 6420.
The winners for April and the very first for this ‘100 Club’ draw are:
1st Prize of £50 – Tony Kolita.
2nd Prize of £30 – Bob Timmis.
3rd Prize of £20 – Lodge of Charity No 2651.
Congratulations to Tony, Bob and the Lodge of Charity. It is not too late to join the ‘100 Club’. If you are interested just contact Steve Clarke.
