Traveling gavel passed to West Lancashire Lodge

Southport’s famous ‘Travelling Gavel’ has once again been passed on by the members Perfect Ashlar Lodge No 5246 to three members of West Lancashire Lodge No 1403. At an initiation ceremony held by the brethren of Prefect Ashlar Lodge at Southport Masonic Hall, which was their first meeting they had held since receiving the gavel themselves from County Palatine Lodge No 2505, three brethren from West Lancashire Lodge, WM David Bradbury, SW Pete Martin and Secretary Keith Wilson attended with to witness the ceremony claim their prize.
