At the meeting held in the Southport Masonic Hall, Christopher Taylor was installed into the first principal’s chair, Malcolm Wright ascended that of the second principal whilst the third principal’s chair was temporarily occupied by Tom McKenzie, as the elected companion, Harry Huyton was unable to attend.

The chapter is a daylight chapter, meeting in the morning which is attractive to those companions who don’t wish to venture out in the evening.
