Secondly was the music round which consisted of TV Themes from the past until the present, thirdly was the brain teasers which include questions and mind benders? the questions being in two parts, what’s it all boat? Which were questions about famous boats and ships and the second part was questions about famous Alfred’s!
The final part of the quiz was a series mindbender questions to really got the brains working.
The winning team after a tie breaker on 78 points was Lynne, Thomas and Howard Dinsdale, with Alan Hore and Mike Melia. Who were presented with their prize of twelve lottery tickets presented by the worshipful master Keith Rushton.
During the night there was a break with a large buffet which was put on by the members of the lodge and guests.
The evening was finished off with a raffle and then Keith closed the evening thanking everyone for coming and for all the help everyone had given him in organising the night.
The night was a huge success for the lodge and with everyone enjoying themselves, helping to raise £237 for the lodge’s charity account which will be divided between the various charities the lodge supports during the ensuing year.
