It was a well-attended ceremony with 46 members and guests enjoying a high calibre ceremony, which was honoured with the presence of Assistant to the Provincial Grand Principals Tony Hall, representing the Grand Superintendent Tony Harrison.

After the investiture of the officers, and the addresses to them and the companions, the ceremony of installation was declared complete.

Tony Hall had the honour of presenting a Grand Patron Certificate for North Meols Chapter’s most generous donation of £2,250 to the MCF 2021 Festival. A further £400 split evenly between West Lancashire Freemasons’ Charity and the Southport Hall Foundation; showing why this is a fast growing and popular chapter.

Propositions for two new members and a joining member further emphasised this, ensuring a healthy membership for some time to come.

A most enjoyable festive board followed with the usual toasts and speeches being well received by all present and setting the standard for John’s year in the chair.
