In the 2022 installation, Philip Tarbun was proclaimed WM of Lune Lodge No 4724 in the presence of Provincial Grand Master Tony Harrison’s representative, Past Lancaster Group Chairman Jim Wilson who stood in for Benjamin Gorry at short notice. He was accompanied by Provincial Grand Steward Carl Horrax, Chairman of the Lancaster and District Group Neil McGill and vice chairman Scott Devine.

Philip qualified as an accountant in 2004 and has been self-employed for the past 11 years and is also a chartered tax advisor.
Lodge’s director of ceremonies Paul Mason proclaimed Philip Tarbun as master as he had been first installed in 2020 immediately prior to the COVID lockdown. Installing officers were Dan Crossley as senior warden, Steve McClintock as junior warden and Paul Thompson as inner guard.
The first degree working tools were presented by Peter Burdell. The address to the master was given by Neil McGill; that to the wardens by John Heaton and that to the brethren of the lodge by Dan Crossley.
The organist was David Tattersall and the festive board was held at Rowley Court. Nigel Parrish sang the ‘master’s song’ and the toast to the WM was given by Peter Walmsley. A raffle raised £285 for charitable causes.
