Morecambe Lodge receives ‘Vice Patron’ certificate

The members of Morecambe Lodge No 1561 were pleased to welcome Simon Hanson, the Lancaster Group Charity Steward, who gave a very interesting and informative talk on the forthcoming 2021 Festival which is in support of the new overarching Masonic Charitable Foundation. Following the talk the brethren were given the opportunity to ask Simon questions relating to the Festival, which they did so with great gusto. In fact, the question and answer session probably lasted as long as the talk itself, which only proved how much interest had been generated by Simon.

Also, present at the meeting was the Regional Charity Steward Geoff Bury, who together with Simon and on behalf of the Provincial Grand Master Tony Harrison, presented Morecambe Lodge with a certificate as a Vice Patron of the Masonic Charitable Foundation 2021 Festival in recognition of the festival donation of £1,500 made at its installation meeting; thus, allowing Morecambe Lodge to record on its next precept if they so wish ‘Vice Patron of the MCF 2021 Festival’.
