The Space Centre in Preston is a unique and valued resource. It provides multi-sensory rooms to support those with special needs and provides incredible stimulation.

Those who benefit include, but are not limited to, patients with cerebral palsy, mental health issues, brain injury and profound learning difficulties. It is a safe and secure environment for individuals and groups.
The Preston Masons have been delighted to support the Space Centre on a number of occasions over the years. This year the Preston Group of Masons have donated £550 to the centre to help it to continue to offer support for those in most need.
In his final act as retiring group chairman, Steve Bolton accompanied by his successor John Rimmer, was delighted to present the cheque to one of the Space Centre Trustees, David Diggins and Fundraiser Andrea Baker.
A large number of groups and individuals visit the centre each month, including special schools, respite care homes, family bookings, play-schemes, parent support groups, after school clubs and also day centres and community homes who cater for young people and adults with physical and learning disabilities.
