Garden makeover at Ecclesholme progresses to plan

The first phase of work to clear the overgrown areas in the garden of Ecclesholme was undertaken by Freemasons from Cheshire Province.

The weather was perfect as Tim Nelson and his team of volunteers started the garden renovation project.

Everyone in the team seemed to enjoy the work of clearing and preparing to ground for planting in the coming months.

Finally the ground has been further smoothed and prepared for the hands of the more expert gardeners in phase two of the project – the planting!

The next stage and will be looking for brethren to donate shrubs from their gardens and Tim says he would appreciate some of the elder brethren joining in on the day to provide their gardening wisdom.
