Frederick (Freddie) Fox was installed in the chair of King Solomon of Warton Lodge No 8411 by installing master Eric Beswick on behalf of Keith Lowson, the WM of the lodge. The representative of the Provincial Grand Master Tony Harrison was Christopher Butterfield who was accompanied by Lancaster Group Chairman Neil McGill and acting Provincial grand steward Carl Horrax.

Freddie Fox was presented for installation by Roger Nevinson. Freddie has been a Freemason for 50 years since his initiation into De Montfort Lodge No 5155 in Warwickshire in 1971 and was WM twice before joining Warton Lodge where he was WM in 2007, and a former organist for the lodge.
The third degree working tools were presented by Frank Senior, the second degree working tools by Michael Yeadon and the first degree working tools by Fred Frobisher. The address to the WM was given by Fred Frobisher and the addresses to the wardens by Bill Manderson. Christopher Butterfield completed the installation proceedings with the address to the brethren of the lodge.
John Walsh and two other brethren from De Montfort Lodge were present to support Freddie Fox at his installation. A raffle that was held at the festive board raised £170.
