Consecutive year for Ron

Ron Walker, a past master of Justice Lodge No 5092 in the Province of Warwickshire and a joining member of Prescot Lodge No 5470, was installed into the chair of King Solomon in an exemplary manner by the installing master Bob Bridge. Bob performed the ceremony flawlessly, assisted by his officers, which was attended by over 70 lodge members and visitors.

The lodge was honoured by the presence of Assistant Provincial Grand Master Anthony Bent as the principal guest, accompanied by St Helens and Prescot Group Chairman Colin Rowling and a number of grand and acting Provincial grand officers and including the group vice chairman, Graham Williams.

Bob was completing his second consecutive year serving as master of Prescot Lodge. During his mastership the lodge has seen two initiations and had three joining members, a tribute to Bob’s commitment and service to the lodge and Masonry.

The ladies were invited to a buffet supper whilst the members were at the festive board. Afterwards Mrs Lynda Bent and Mrs Jackie Bridge were each presented with a magnificent bouquet of flowers by the WM. Colin Rowling also received flowers to pass on to his wife, who was unable to attend.
