The evening of Halloween saw the scene set for the 2015 annual Charity Steward’s Dinner and Cabaret, held at Preston Masonic Hall, with well over 100 brethren and their ladies enjoying a night of fun and laughter.
The food that was prepared and served by PMH staff was sumptuous and the audience was professionally entertained by the very experienced ‘’Ivy League’, who not only filled the dance floor but had just about everyone singing along to so many classic songs.
A raffle concluded the evening with the Provincial Grand Master Tony Harrison and his wife Maureen picking the winning names from the tombola drum.
Terry McGill the Manager of Preston Masonic Hall was presented with a cheque for £141.41p towards the Preston Masonic Hall Association fund. The Chairman of the Trustees of West Lancashire Freemasons’ Charity, Mark Matthews was presented with a cheque for £550 by Tony Harrison who is also the President of the WLFC.
At the end of the evening Tony thanked everyone who had helped to make the evening such a success, especially the Provincial Grand Charity Steward Glynn Wrennall and his wife Eunice. Glynn then presented a beautiful orchid to Maureen, he went on to thank everyone for supporting the event and the many who had provided such wonderful raffle prizes.
