Ormskirk Masonic Hall was the venue for Aughton Lodge No 7996 Valentine’s Lunch. There were nearly 40 people attending and all were greeted by the WM Mike Trigg and his wife Anne.

This was actually a two-course meal prepared by Gary O’Brien and his team to their usual impeccable standard. The tables were beautifully laid out with table decorations in the middle, which Anne presented in a unique way to ladies depending on their birthdays.
A few keen sportsmen commented what a small price it was to pay, missing their rugby for this event, which went down exceptionally well to mostly romantic music of the guests choice. The music was streamed by Mike on his mobile phone, demonstrating Masonry and technology in harmony.
The event came to an end after a variety of raffle prizes were distributed and London Grand Rank Officer and Provincial Grand Mentor Stewart Cranage informed guests, in Jim Bowen of Bullseye style: ”Here’s what you could have won.”
