A warm welcome to our Provincial Website from W. Bro. John Andrew Topping - Convenor of The Provincial Communications Team
At Provincial Grand Lodge on Thursday 18 October 2007 our R. W. Provincial Grand Master gave details regarding the restructure of the Provincial Communications Team. Please click on the Communications button on the home page for further information as to the name and contact details of your local Provincial Communications Officer (PCO).
Our Purpose – ‘To ensure that Freemasonry in West Lancashire has a better relationship with the media together with better communication amongst its brethren’
To achieve this – ‘We need a planned and sustained effort to establish and maintain goodwill and mutual understanding between West Lancashire Freemasonry and the public’
I would personally like to see -
- an increase in access to Masonic News
- and an improvement in the range and quantity of Masonic News
The Provincial Website Needs Your News … please contact your PCO who will :
- offer advice and assistance in compiling news articles and digital photographs
- send all completed articles to the Editor by email
- build-up a record of Group News articles and features
- feedback Group, Lodge and Chapter activities to Team Meetings, which convene at Leyland three times per year.
The Provincial Communications Team would like to hear of the 2010 fund-raising activities going on from around The Province. Please contact your local PCO and let him know the successes of Lodges, Chapters and Groups.
It is vital we recognise success stories from around the Groups that are contributing so much towards this amazing charity! … please support your PCO Team in developing the special 2010 Website section
*PLEASE VISIT THE WEBSITE REGULARLY TO KEEP WELL INFORMED !!
