The Provincial Grand Almoner may be contacted at the Provincial Office, Hope Street on Mondays and Thursdays between 10:00am and 4:00pm (0151 709 2458 ext 1 and follow directions to the Grand Charity)

The Provincial Grand Almoner will endeavor to provide and maintain a Charity system within the Province of West Lancashire.

To achieve this goal he will consult with the Senior Officers of the Province, executives of the various charities and the specialist Care Officers.

The Provincial Grand Almoner will work alongside the Care Officers in establishing an integrated policy of organized support and care for those in need and to ensure that the policy & system is fully understood by all concerned.

The Provincial Grand Almoner will endeavor to ensure that the Lodge Almoner is fully aware of his duties and responsibilities and that there is a high level of support available to cater for his needs. This will be achieved with the use of support from the Senior Officers of the Province and the entire Charity team.

The R.M.B.I. provides the West Lancashire project which allows for a top-up towards the fees required at some Private Care Homes when income and Local Authority contributions fall short.

The scheme is subject to inspection and evaluation by the R.M.B.I
