The sun shines on Ecclesholme

The Ecclesholme open day was bathed in glorious sunshine. This year the event was opened by Tony Bent, Assistant Provincial Grand Master, supported by his wife Lynda. Tony welcomed all those who had attended and thanked every one for all their efforts in this very worthy cause.

As well as the normal stalls provided by the lodges and organisations the event spilled out on to the lawn.

The sun shone on the roulette, BBQ and the Geenhalls Brass Band, the afternoon was perfect.

Malcolm Warren Secretary of the Friends of Ecclesholme said that the afternoon had raised £1,300. Malcolm repeated Tony’s thanks for all the effort people had put in.
