Tony Bent, Assistant Provincial Grand Master, was the principal guest at the installation meeting of Leigh Lodge No 4744.
Paul Joynton was installed as Worshipful Master by Steve Ralph who installed his successor into the chair of King Solomon in an excellent ceremony. He was ably assisted by the brethren and officers of the lodge.
At the end of the ceremony Tony was presented with cheques from the lodge, in the sum of £815 to Masonic and Non Masonic charities, for which he thanked the brethren for their generous donations.
After the ceremony, Paul was congratulated by Tony upon reaching the chair of King Solomon for the first time he said that he was sure the year would be fulfilling, rewarding and memorable.
At the festive board, Tony thanked the Paul and all the brethren for an enjoyable and special day. He said he was confident that in twelve months time, Paul would look back on a fantastic year. He also commented on the magnificent work done in the lodge by the Installing Master; the first class work by the brethren who delivered the working tools and congratulated the rest of the team who took part.
