Assistant Provincial Grand Master Terry Hudson has appealed for more lodges to support the West Lancashire Freemasons’ Charity.

The newest member of Academy Lodge, Ben Axworthy, enjoyed a chat with Jon Clipsham and Terry Hudson before they paraded into the installation meeting.
He made the appeal in Warrington at the installation meeting of Academy Lodge No 9382 where he was the principal guest.
Many were shocked at the festive board when Terry thanked the lodge for its charitable donations including one for the West Lancashire Freemasons’ Charity but then revealed that 28 lodges in the Province have not made a single donation to the charity in the last five years.
At the meeting, which he described as a “wonderful evening” Terry was joined by fellow Assistant Provincial Grand Master Jon Clipsham, Past Assistant Provincial Grand Master Dennis Rudd, Warrington Group Chairman Chris Eyres and seven other Grand Officers.
Keith Gatley, a founder of the lodge in 1991, was installed as WM by Gerald Norden who was congratulated on his work by Terry. It is the second time that Keith has served the lodge as WM, the first time being in 1996. Keith is also a member of the Lodge of Equity and Appleton No 1384 and several of his colleagues from the Widnes lodge attended with some taking an active role in the ceremony.

Chris Eyres welcomes Terry Hudson and Jon Clipsham to Warrington along with Dennis Rudd and other Grand Officers.
