Brothers support brother at Ansdell Lodge

The initiation of John Bradley into Ansdell Lodge No 3607 was certainly a family affair with brothers supporting brother.

South Fylde Group Chairman David Randerson, who is also the Worshipful Master of the lodge in its centenary year, was delighted to invite the immediate past master, John’s brother-in-law John Nicholls, to take the chair for the ceremony.

John also had the support of his actual brother Dennis Bradley who travelled all the way from Northampton to witness what proved to be a splendid ceremony. Indeed Dennis, who has been a Mason for nearly 30 years, commented afterwards at the festive board that he genuinely thought it was the best ceremony of initiation he had ever witnessed.

He agreed fully with David’s comments that everyone had played their part but he reserved special praise for junior warden Mark Langley for his outstanding delivery of the charge after initiation.
