The installing master, Desmond Delamere, carried out a faultless ceremony, with many of the brethren taking a role which was an excellent example of the work being spread amongst many, one of the wishes of the Provincial Grand Master.

The principal guest was Paul Renton, Provincial Senior Grand Warden, who commented on the quality of the installation and made specific mention to the quality of the work from the junior brethren delivering the working tools, he also mentioned the excellent work of Eric Delamere the lodge Director of Ceremonies.

During the ceremony Paul was presented with the cheques valued at over £2,000 to be passed on to the charities at the next Warrington group giving day: Brookfield School for handicapped children, Warrington Disabled Living Centre, St Rocco’s Hospice, Hope House Children’s Hospice, Macmillan Cancer Support, Winwick Church, Elderly care unit Halton Hospital, Warrington Judo Club, West Lancashire Freemason’s Charity, Warrington Masonic Hall and Eccleshome.

The master’s song was performed by Gwilym Jones accompanied by Peter Blease.

Dennis is a PPrJGW and also holds Provincial rank in the Royal Arch. He has twice before served as WM in his mother lodge and is also an experienced DC. He says’ he is looking forward to his year as WM with a number of ceremonies already planned.
