Warrington welcomes Westhoughton visitors

Members of two Westhoughton lodges which do not meet in September take advantage of this each year by visiting lodges in other parts of the Province.

This year four members from Coronation Lodge No 7258 and St James Lodge No 8910 decided, they would like to visit Warrington and wrote to lodges asking for details of meetings taking place in September.

They were welcomed to St Oswald Lodge No 5170 when an initiation ceremony took place. Visiting St Oswald from Westhoughton were David Haynes, Michael Harrison and John Riley from St James Lodge No 8910 and Robin Andrew-Morris of Coronation Lodge No 7258.

John Riley replied on behalf of all visitors at the social board and said the brethren from Westhoughton had been given a very warm welcome from the second they arrived at Warrington Masonic Hall. He said it had been a special evening with an excellent ceremony and even better company.
