Assistant Provincial Grand Master John Moore, in consultation with Derek Hunt, has been looking at all previous aspects of the work of communication officers.
Consequently, it is now decided that the title of Group Publicity Officer more accurately reflects the important role they undertake. Members of the team are responsible for providing stories and photographs for the Provincial Website and the West Lancashire Freemason as well as working with the media to promote an accurate image of Freemasonry and the involvement of its members in the communities they serve.
Each group in the Province is to have its own dedicated Group Publicity Officer.
The Provincial Grand Master has appointed Derek Hunt as Provincial Publicity Officer. He is also Editor of the Provincial Website and Editor of the West Lancashire Freemason.
Chris Butterfield continues to be Provincial Webmaster.
